Layton Giordani and Experts Only lead the way
NMF for 2/20! Here are the tracks we love that came out today, perfect timing for your commute home or your new sounds for the gym.
Destiny - Layton Giordani
LAYTON! Honing his inner Deadmau5/Kaskade, he blew up in 2025 and he is continuing into 2026 with an absolute nuke “Destiny”. dark synth notes and heavy low beats. This song was definitely influenced by two of the best to do it.
Never Alone - Odd Mob
Another Friday, another Experts Only drop. Odd Mob goes back to his roots, tech house at its finest. Odd Mob similarly to Layton Giordani, has had a meteoritic rise. Co-signed by some of the genres biggest names. He’s been consistent, which we at BPM Bulletin can appreciate. Keep an ear out for the second drop on this record 💣
Opalite - Taylor Swift (Chris Lake Remix)
This one is for the ladies… wow. Chris Lake takes this Taylor Swift hit and brings it to the dance floor. He lets Taylor do the work, keeps the beat simple and compliments Taylor’s voice and Cadence, turning up the heat during the buildup and unleashing a funky groove for the breakdown. Wouldn’t expect anything less from the king.
Opalite - Taylor Swift (Skream Remix)
You’d think we’re huge Taylor Swift fans here but with Chris Lake getting all the attention we couldn’t leave out Skream. This remix has a disco feel to it. Bouncy, fun and guaranteed to get people dancing.
Get Out My Head - NOTION
NOTION follows up a strong ending to 2026 with a heater. I think we can say he’s found his sound. His follow up to The Days is a catchy DnB track with strong vocals.
Million Pieces - Adam Ten (Malive remix)
The strong piano introduction sets the stage for this disco house heater. We like this better than the original. Funky, groovy, makes it hard to stay still.
Body & Soul/Winning Prize - Matroda
Matroda has always been on our aux since he came on the scene. His sound is unique but he always finds new ways to produce and add different sounds to his game. This EP is no different. He starts with Body & Soul, a using a piano sample to lay the foundation for that deep voice he uses in almost all his songs. The name of the song tells you all you need to know.
His second track, Winning Prize, starts right where Body & soul ends. We love the audio sample 15 seconds in. Very iconic. Let us know what you think.
Melancholia - Tinlicker
Melodic with great build ups. Getting us ready for the upcoming album being released next month. Tinlicker doesn’t miss.
I Don’t Want To - Ayybo & Ragie Ban
If you’re not already listening to Ayybo and Ragie Ban you should begin immediately. Ragie put out a massive hit with Chris Lake last year, TOXIC and Ayybo has been a new age mainstay on festival and club lineups. We don’t think they’re stopping anytime soon and this track adds some flavor to their setlists.
Deep Cut of The Week
Da Funk - Daft Punk (Hawkeys Remix)
I can’t get enough of this remix. Daft Punk has given us amazing hits to refer back to when creating new sounds and waves. But one thing we overlook is how iconic and how remix-able they are. Check out this remix by Hawkeys, a minimal twist on a timeless classic.
Duff Of The Week
Rollin - PNAU & Meduza
I never thought I’d see the day MEDUZA is in Duff of the Week, I actually thought this was a scam and they had nothing to do with the project. That was until I heard their signature sounds. This track is bland and is lacking the spark MEDUZA normally brings to their songs.
